New Years Eve
Well it’s that time of year again when we ring the new year. 2009 I just never imagined what life would be like after 2000, you know since the world was supposed to collapse or something like that anyway. I don’t go out and party on New Years never really have. This year is no different as we are staying at home and partaking in some beverages for the over 21 crowd and that is fine by me.
2008 was an interesting year to say the least, my daughter changed right before my eyes, my plans were set in motion to be famous (I suppose if you want to call it that) Let’s just say I am working harder than ever before on making my dreams come true. I did what some writers never do and that is send out the stories and face the cacophony of rejection. I just keep reminding myself Stephen King was rejected at one time. Sure I struggled this year but there was some great times as well and life is good. Ain’t no real “perfect” life for anyone and I am just hoping every year that I get older, that the years just keep getting better. There is no direction but up, right?
I wish all of you a wonderful New Year and maybe yours and my dreams will come true this year or maybe next but sometime soon.
